The Hawaiian word “Ko’ali” refers to a type of morning glory vine that grows in Hawai’i, known for the way it spreads and connects. It symbolizes growth, beauty, and the natural world. This hula is choreographed by Kumu Aloha Dalire and shared with Zenora through her Kumu, Kumu Mapuana Kaleoaloha.

Tab Thiele
Artistic Director. Founder. Choreographer.
For over two decades, Tab has immersed herself in the art of dance, cultivating a diverse skill set and a deep understanding of movement. Over the past 8 years, she has focused on teaching and choreographing various styles of dance throughout the Midlands.
Believing in the transformative power of dance, Her approach blends the artistry of dance with body awareness, creating a unique space for dancers to connect deeply with their bodies and embrace their artistry.
Founding Ignited has been the greatest opportunity to inspire and be inspired. Tab looks forward to continuing this incredible journey with all of you.

Kimberlyn Myers
Assistant Director. Choreographer. Season I-VII Member
Kimberlyn has been passionately dancing for 23 years, starting her journey in studio dance from the age of 5 until 16. She continued to thrive on her high school dance team and further pursued her love for movement in collegiate dance, leading to 7 enriching years with a dance collective. Kimberlyn has found her way back to Columbia College and is expected to graduate in the fall with her B.A in Dance Studies. She is hopeful to continue studying dance through graduate studies.Kimberlyn loves sharing her passion and creativity, inspiring others along the way. Specializing in Contemporary and Modern techniques, she has found her true home with Ignited, where she has been embraced as part of a supportive family.

Destini Timmons
Choreographer. Season VI-VII Member
Destini has been dancing for over 20 years and has been a part of Ignited for 2 amazing ones. She has trained in ballet, jazz, and of course her favorite, contemporary/ lyrical. A Columbia native, she graduated from USC and coached competitive dance, before traveling to Europe to complete graduate school. Even while abroad, dance never left her and she continued to dance recreationally. Upon return, she joined MJDA as an instructor and decided to join the dance world again, through Ignited.It’s here she’s gained so many connections, support, and life long friendships with the thickest of the midlands.
